identity on tyne is a diverse and talented group of writers from across the North East region who meet every month to share their work and support each other. This is the area where we spotlight individual writers and their work.

You can browse some of the writing produced by iD members in this area of the site (click on 'iD on tyne members'). You can also read work published in the group’s first anthology of writing, A Taste of Liquorice, that focuses on the lives of writers of colour in the North East.
