Ruth-Anne Lynch

Ruth-Anne Lynch, freelance travel and lifestyle writer, was born in Britain to Guyanese and Jamaican parents, and has lived and been educated in all three countries. Ruth-Anne has a BA (Hons) Degree in International Tourism Management and Spanish and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Radio (Production and Management) at the University of Sunderland.

In 2004, Ruth-Anne wrote the first of a six part series of children's books, entitled Hoppety Kangaroo (World Traveller) goes… to Canada, which is as yet unpublished, although it has been adapted and recorded for Radio. The author is now writing the second book Hoppety Kangaroo (World Traveller) goes… to Alaska and hopes that the books will eventually form part of the UK school curriculum and/or be made into a children television series.
