Nkosana Mpofu is a librarian, runner, performance poet, gardener and songwriter from Bulawayo.
"I am an amalgam of good and bad and can therefore write about either depending on what stirs me at the time of writing. Nature, stereotypical behaviour, politics, suffering, phenomena and relationships inspire me including my successes and failures. I therefore do not dwell on one subject. In my tradition poetry is a way of recording history in a brief and poetic way that is easy to remember."
Nkosana is currently on a masters programme at the University of Newcastle doing Museums, Heritage and Interpretation studies.
